Imaged 20111020 with 20cm f/4 Newtonian Reflector and GSTAR-EX video camera
4 sector mosaic (2w x 2h)
200 video frames each sector with no filter
(luminance channel) 

Colour info is lo-res, wide field print taken in 1989 with a 10" f/5.8 reflector on Hypered Kodak Ektar 1000 film.

Object Info

NGC 6523 AKA the "Lagoon" nebula. Emission and dark nebula complex. Has several dark globules.

100 video frames of each Red, Green and Blue filters

Zooming in further on the feature known as the "hourglass".
20110603 I imaged the luminance channel with 2x barlow and blended with previous RGB channels.
