20cm photographic system ...

After I put the 31.5cm telescope and larger mount into the observatory, I started a new project with the old equatorial mount. A new drive motor and worm wheel was fitted. I ground and polished a 20cm f/5 mirror and put it into a Newtonian Reflector specially suited to astrophotography. It has a large secondary mirror to reduce vignetting, a 50mm focuser and is well baffled. It has a 75mm Refractor for a guidescope and both scopes are mounted in a custom cradle which is very rigid.
