The Other House is a smaller version of the owners' corrugated iron house. It has old cedar doors and each room has French windows which open onto a north-facing terrace. The house is sited to maximise light and sun in Winter; in the Summer, shutters and a grapevine provide shade. There is solar hot water and a slow combustion stove which heats the house in Winter. The kitchen/living room, 2 spacious bedrooms, bunk-room and 2 bathrooms are all furnished with an eclectic collection of antiques.

The house overlooks an orchard and enclosed vegetable garden. Every window has a view of paddocks, hills, gumtrees and sheep. Peace and tranquility are laid out in front of you. Be gobsmacked and breathless at the view from the hills behind the house; picnic in the paddock (in Winter) or just soak up the sun and peace on the terrace.
	Children are welcome - there are toys, books and games for the young ones and room for older children to ride their bikes and kick a football. Within easy driving distance are Hill End, Burrendong Dam, Gulgong, Western Plains Zoo, Wellington Caves, Goulburn River National Park and of course, the vineyards of the Mudgee Valley.
